finally managed to hang out with catherine and kaye today after so long. think the last time i saw them was last year. been more than half a year now! we've just been so busy with school (they're nursing students) and even though we live just 10 mins away from each other, we could never find time to meet up. so we finally decided to make sure we were free today.

had school in the morning but i couldnt focus on cleaning the dirty gross snails. just wanted to go meet them back at the mall near my house. had lunch and bought some japanese snack at ichiban kan. watched despicable me after lunch. its sooo cute! i like the minions and agnes! its soo fluffy!!! my new favorite phrase. i think im going to be annoying people with that. even though the commercials showed most of the cute funny parts, they managed to hide the real story. walked around the mall for a bit. cathy bought boots. they were on sale at charlotte russe for 20 bucks. really pretty but i thought i spent enough already at florida so i stopped myself. ate at bj's after before cathy had to go do stuff. had calamari, grillled chicken club and a pizooki! yums was soo full after especially since we just had lunch 3 hours ago. hung out at kaye's house after. really like her house. talked about research and school and life haha while waiting for cathy to finish her stuff. time passed soo fast! urgh. went to onyx after with cathy and got more food. jasmine milk tea and more calamari. ooohh i wonder how high my cholesterol level is. lol. didnt want to leave but it was already 10ish and i had to get home before my uncle did plus they had stuff to do the next day too. didnt realise how much we missed each other. so we're making sure we meet again before school starts. we had so much stuff that we want to do together- sleepover, 6 flags themepark, gilroy outlet shopping...etc.

now im back home wide awake since i had a whole bottle of deep french roast coffee and that milk tea. good luck to me sleeping tonight. lol. especially since i hadnt had this much caffeine since school ended.

other than that, everything else has been pretty mundane. found a tutoring job in redwood city which is pretty lame. it pays 20/hour but i m only there for an hour and travelling take about 2 hours and 9 dollars. so technically,i only make 11 dollars. doesnt even cover my one week travelling expenses to school. well at least im doing sth.

been turning down people too for i dont know what reason. its the thing about living with relatives. always having to think about them/cant get home too late/cant go out too often. not that theyd say anything but i dont want them to feel like im treating this as a hotel or sth. sigh i dont know.. mom's been bugging me to go see houses but im just too lazy and so used to here that i dont exactly want to move. i resist change!

ok im done typing. still have florida trip to update on but that will wait. heh heh.
